Mission Motorsport’s aim is “To aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of those affected by military operations, by providing opportunities through motorsport.”
The charity is dedicated to using motorsport to help those affected mentally and physically in service to achieve, learn and grow as individuals. Engaging new beneficiaries through motorsport and, through its accredited training centres and corporate partnerships, Misison Motorpsort can help them gain new skills and work placements, providing a network of support and pastoral care throughout each person’s journey.
Through participation in competition, Mission Motorsport’s strong team ethos helps to inspire and rebuild confidence; while the development of skills including mechanical competencies, logistics, and management all build capacity for a brighter future.
Since inception in 2012, the charity has seen impressive growth and delivered more than 4,000 training days of sport for almost 1,300 beneficiaries, leading to over 200 placements and more than 100 jobs.
